One of the ways I decided to cut back on expenses was to invest in the Wahl 79524-1001 Deluxe Chrome Pro with Multi-Cut Clipper & Trimmer. I now cut my own hair and my son’s and save the expense of going to the barber. I like the fact that this is a complete haircutting kit with a multi-cut clipper.  Everything that I might need comes with it in a soft zippered carrying case. You get a lot for the price.  This Wahl is a top-of-the-line clipper.  It’s powerful and does a great job cutting our hair.

I got tired of buying cheap trimmers that had to be thrown out all too soon.  I did some looking around and got the Andis FadeMaster Professional Hair Trimmer to use on my hair and to cut my sons’ hair.
Right away, at first use, I could tell the difference.  This is a professional-grade trimmer designed for heavy use that does an excellent job of cutting hair.
I really like the look of this trimmer.  The aluminum housing looks great and is supposed to be unbreakable.  It does seem to be quite durable, and though it claims to be lightweight in the specs, I think it has a solid feel, which I like.  It has an ergonomic design that makes it comfortable to use.
This trimmer has a high-speed motor, which is important because hair cuts more evenly and efficiently when the trimmer blades are quick.
Some trimmers can make a lot of noise, but this one is quiet.
One thing that’s really convenient about this trimmer is that the cord is 8 feet long.  This feature comes in handy because I plug the cord into a garage outlet and cut hair on the driveway.
The blade is adjustable, and I’m able to create the right fade.
The clipper runs cool for a while, but it does get hot after prolonged use.  If I take my time too much, we have to take a break while the clipper cools down.

I got the FORFEX by Babyliss PRO FX670 Professional Cord/Cordless Clipper (with Titanium/Ceramic Blade Set and Travel Case) because I cut my own hair and my wife uses it to cut our sons’ hair.  I chose the FORFEX because it has a “45mm fixed blade with titanium carbon coating and moving ceramic blade.”  I like to get the best, and it’s my understanding that titanium is the best, as clippers go.

I got recommendations from a couple of barbers before choosing the Andis 63965 Ceramic Bgrc Professional Detachable Blade Clipper.  I had decided to make the investment in professional grade clippers since I cut my own hair and my boys’ hair.  Wow, does it make a difference to use quality clippers.  These clippers provide a good, detailed cut that makes me feel like a bona fide barber myself.  The boys aren’t reluctant to get their cuts, anymore, either, because there’s no pinching and the clipper doesn’t get too hot.
This is a lightweight clipper that’s easy to handle, and I don’t get tired after extended cutting sessions.
This Andis clipper has a heavy duty high speed motor that gives me professional results.  My boys aren’t balking at getting cuts anymore because there’s never any pinching, and the clipper doesn’t run hot.
The clipper comes with CeramicEdge blades and is versatile with the types of blades it can use.  It also works with Andis UltraEdge blades.
This clipper comes with a cord but also with the option of going cordless.  I use it both ways because I prefer cordless when I’m cutting my own hair, but when I need more power for extended sessions, I can switch back to the cord.
This is an extremely quiet clipper, which is another reason I think my boys don’t mind their haircuts as they did before.

I keep my hair and my sons’ hair short, which requires frequent cutting.  I got the Andis 22315BGC2 Excel 2-Speed Professional Clipper because I needed a new clipper and wanted to invest in one that would provide a professional grade cut and would last a long time, even with frequent use.

Andis has a good reputation as a manufacturer of clippers, and I like that the clipper is made in the USA.  I always buy products that are made in the USA, when possible.

My hair is so simple and easy to cut that it’s just not worth going to a barbers any more, much the same as a lot of guys. I usually get my wife to do my hair, but after too many experiences with our previous trimmer pulling on my hair (I presume it was the fault of the machine – not the wife) I decided it was time to invest in a new trimmer. I settled for the Remington Short Cut Clipper Rechargeable Haircut Kit for a number of reasons, and it’s generally lived up to expectations very well.

I’ve had trimmer’s by Wahl in the past with generally above average results, so for a really close shave on my head, I decided to invest in the Wahl Professional 8110 5-star Series Balding Clipper. If you’re like me, you probably get sick of using a regular razor blade on your head and suffering the irritation that comes with it, even if it does give the best results. I’ve used regular electric trimmers on my head before, on their lowest length setting, but it was never close enough. Being advertised as a balding clipper, I had high hopes for this one.

I’ve generally been impressed with products by Wahl in the past, so when it came time to get a new set of clippers, I opted for the cute Wahl Professional 8685 Peanut Classic Clipper. I was a little hesitant about purchasing at first due the small size, and I thought may be the motor size would be compromised, but it was getting some positive reviews so I took the plunge!

From the moment you see a picture of the Philips Norelco QC5055 Power Hair Clipper, you know it’s going to be interesting clipper. But looks only count for so much, especially when it comes to a device for cutting your hair. So how does the Philips Norelco QC5055 fair up overall as a product?

If you’re looking to save on trips to the barber and are wanting to invest in a good hair cutting kit, then you’ve no doubt come across the Andis 29775 11-Piece Home Hair Cutting Kit. It’s been getting some pretty good reviews. But is it all it’s cracked up to be? How good a trim does it give compared to other hair clippers?

In this article I’m going to give my review of the Andis 29775, hopefully helping you come to a more informed decision at to whether it’s right for you or not.
