Right away, at first use, I could tell the difference. This is a professional-grade trimmer designed for heavy use that does an excellent job of cutting hair.
I really like the look of this trimmer. The aluminum housing looks great and is supposed to be unbreakable. It does seem to be quite durable, and though it claims to be lightweight in the specs, I think it has a solid feel, which I like. It has an ergonomic design that makes it comfortable to use.
This trimmer has a high-speed motor, which is important because hair cuts more evenly and efficiently when the trimmer blades are quick.
Some trimmers can make a lot of noise, but this one is quiet.
One thing that’s really convenient about this trimmer is that the cord is 8 feet long. This feature comes in handy because I plug the cord into a garage outlet and cut hair on the driveway.
The blade is adjustable, and I’m able to create the right fade.
The clipper runs cool for a while, but it does get hot after prolonged use. If I take my time too much, we have to take a break while the clipper cools down.

I got the FORFEX by Babyliss PRO FX670 Professional Cord/Cordless Clipper (with Titanium/Ceramic Blade Set and Travel Case) because I cut my own hair and my wife uses it to cut our sons’ hair. I chose the FORFEX because it has a “45mm fixed blade with titanium carbon coating and moving ceramic blade.” I like to get the best, and it’s my understanding that titanium is the best, as clippers go.

This is a lightweight clipper that’s easy to handle, and I don’t get tired after extended cutting sessions.
This Andis clipper has a heavy duty high speed motor that gives me professional results. My boys aren’t balking at getting cuts anymore because there’s never any pinching, and the clipper doesn’t run hot.
The clipper comes with CeramicEdge blades and is versatile with the types of blades it can use. It also works with Andis UltraEdge blades.
This clipper comes with a cord but also with the option of going cordless. I use it both ways because I prefer cordless when I’m cutting my own hair, but when I need more power for extended sessions, I can switch back to the cord.
This is an extremely quiet clipper, which is another reason I think my boys don’t mind their haircuts as they did before.

Andis has a good reputation as a manufacturer of clippers, and I like that the clipper is made in the USA. I always buy products that are made in the USA, when possible.
